The AI Guys was founded by practitioners who have spent their careers turning complex analytical and artificial intelligence capabilities into systems that organizations can actually operate. Michael Simpson

Co-Founder, Enterprise AI and Data Science

Michael is a senior data scientist, economist, and applied AI practitioner with experience leading enterprise AI, advanced analytics, optimization, simulation, forecasting, intelligent document processing, and decision-support initiatives. His work focuses on translating ambiguous business problems into practical architecture, measurable value cases, governed implementation, and operational adoption.

Michael holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics, with advanced training in econometrics, statistics, optimization, and quantitative analysis. He has worked as an economic consultant and data scientist, currently operates at senior enterprise scope, and has taught at the MBA level. His delivery experience spans AI agents, LLM-integrated systems, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI services, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Python, SQL, cloud data platforms, forecasting, geospatial analytics, simulation, and economic modelling.

Logan is a data engineer focused on the architecture and operational foundations required to make analytics and AI systems reliable. His work spans data pipelines, databases, cloud platforms, APIs, integration, automation, and the movement of data between enterprise systems and AI applications.

At The AI Guys, Logan leads data engineering and implementation architecture, ensuring that models are connected to governed data, scalable infrastructure, and maintainable production workflows.
